Alan Moore Double Feature

Alright, so just to get the taste of Sapphire Excellente out of your mouth…

…(phrasing which puts a whole other, far more disturbing, image into my head)…

…here’s the Alan Moore / Mitch Jenkins short film Act of Faith, in its entirety, for free on the interwebs:

The two films deal with the same events from different perspectives, and are the first installments of a larger multimedia project called Show Pieces.Moore discusses the whole thing, along with some behind-the-scenes stories of the filming, in the following video. So you can… you know… if you’re of a mind… kind of treat this post like a bastardized Special Edition of the Funnybook Shakespeare’s first foray into film…

(That tantalizing mention of a sequel to Neonomicon, by the way, is in reference to an unconnected comics project. So, though the idea that Jimmy’s End is a prequel to that book is… weirdly intriguing… It’s also wrong.)
